Channel Sales - Region DACH, Riverbed Technologies
Born and raised on the west-coast of Sweden, Kerstin took her M.Sc. degree at the Stockholm School of Economics. After a short stay in the health sector, she got the opportunity to join a small unknown company called Compaq Computer, a company which would become one of the worldwide leading IT-companies later merging with another IT-leader, Hewlett-Packard. To join the IT-industry when it took off, was an enormous privilege. Starting her career in the industry in Logistics & Operations, she soon wanted to understand more about the products and she joined the EMEA Product Marketing team.
From product manager, to group product manager, to Marketing Manager and to Business Unit Director for the emerging markets in Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, she has had the opportunity to work with fantastic diverse teams, influence growth, go-to-market models, product development and Channel Sales, achieving no. 1 market position in several of the markets. In the merge of Compaq and HP, she stepped out of the operational business and acted as Director, Post-merger integration for the region. This gave her invaluable insight about the importance of motivating teams while staying focused on the business results in turbulent times.
Being inspired by working with Channel Partners, Kerstin joined one of the worldwide leading distributors, Tech Data, where she acted as EMEA Business Development manager.
Channel Sales, Channel development & enablement remain her key focus area with her current employer Riverbed Technologies, a key IT-player providing optimal Digital Performance in the digital world in which we all live today. She currently holds a Channel Sales position in DACH.
Kerstin lives with husband and 2 teenage sons in Munich, Germany, and enjoys much of my spare time in their 2nd home in the in Austrian Alps. Loves hiking, running, skiing and her art-classes.
