After graduating law school in Tübingen (Germany) in 2000, she graduated with a second state examination in May 2001, after which she became lawyer at Hewlett-Packard GmbH, Böblingen (Germany). During this time, she has been the EMEA Counsel for Snapfish (HP's online photo service) for five years. Between 2001 - 2011, Katrin was appointed member of three Bitkom workgroups - Co-author of some publications for Bitkom members (Bitkom AGB and Guidelines for Opensource Software and Online Business with Consumers). In 2010, Katrin initiated the HP Pro Bono Initiative "Legal Risks on the Internet", training for students of all types of schools in the district of Böblingen, conducted by the HP Law Department. Later, she became a Lecturer for IT Law at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. Today, Katrin Mondon oversees Hewlett-Packard (Switzerland) GmbH, Dübendorf (Switzerland) Country Counsel Switzerland & Managing Counsel Austria Member of the Swiss Executive Committee and S Board of trustees of the Swiss HP Pension Fund. On top of that, she is a member of the Program Committee ICT - Law and Practice of the European Institute of the University of Zurich.
