“Women in IT leadership are essential in the 21st Century. They will take us beyond the ‘Individual’ achievement and personal solutions to find a collaborative engagement and teamwork required for solving the world's most urgent challenges- from climate change, to hunger, to the threat of nuclear war and illiteracy.

The best bosses I've ever had have been women and this is no accident. They know how to lead by being true partners and listening first.”

Women in IT leadership are essential in the 21st Century. They will take us beyond the "Individual" achievement and personal solutions to find a collaborative engagement and teamwork required for solving the world's most urgent challenges- from climate change to hunger, to the threat of nuclear war and illiteracy.

The best bosses I've ever had have been women and this is no accident. They know how to lead by being true partners and listening first.

Francisco "Paco" Aragon is a Supply Chain leader (Industrial Engineer/MBA) with 25 years of experience, almost all of it in high tech. He began his career on factory floors, working night shifts, and has drawn factory plans, planned inventory schedules, end of life, and managed procurement from the bottom of the supply chain to the very end. For nearly a decade he had the privilege of bringing world-class supply chain techniques to bear on issues like sustainability, education, and healthcare as part of Hewlett-Packard's mission to support technology for good. Most recently he has taken on the challenge of 3D printing and applying LEAN manufacturing strategies to complicated product scheduling timelines. Paco admires and champions all women in leadership positions, beginning with his wife, Stephanie Martin, Ph.D., an internationally profiled scholar in public address and communication. He has two sons, Niles, and Tate (both 4), who already identify as feminists!
